Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel & Residence
Peninsula position at the river confluence, suited to river-view stays.
Our assessment
Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel & Residence sits in Phu Quoc, Hoi An, and Phnom Penh and reads, from the first minutes in the lobby, as peninsula position at the river confluence. This assessment covers the room product, the service layer, the dining programme, and the practical business of getting in and out of the building.
It suits river-view stays more than any other group, and the fit is specific enough that guests outside that description often find the property does not match what they wanted from the trip. The stay is defined by river confluence, rooftop pool and residence layouts.
One practical point carries more weight than the score: sits where the Mekong and Tonlé Sap meet, with views both ways. Guests who plan around that single fact tend to rate the stay higher than the headline number would suggest.
